Multi-color printing: One ACE Pro handles up to 4 colors. For 8-color printing, you need two ACE Pro units, and Anycubic's Intelligent Identification Filament Sync is used to identify compatible filaments/colors.
Filament drying while printing: It can actively heat filament to 55°C, allowing drying while the printer is operating. Anycubic specifically lists PLA, PETG, TPU and PVB as suitable for its drying function.
Automatic filament backup: If a spool runs out, the ACE Pro can automatically switch/refill from another spool, which is useful for long prints.
Filament monitoring: It can detect filament tangling and help detect nozzle-clog situations, reducing the chance of a long multi-color print failing unnoticed.
Limitation
The ACE Pro cannot operate as a standalone filament dryer; it is controlled by the compatible Anycubic printer. Also, it doesn't provide fully sealed storage or active humidity control—the official specifications list those as unsupported.
