The dual-extrusion system supports dissolvable PVA and breakaway supports, which is particularly useful for complex models. It also has quick-swap hot ends, automatic bed leveling, vibration compensation, and a dual-textured PEI build plate.
The 3 functions
1. 3D printer
Large 400³ mm maximum workspace, dual extrusion, 300°C hotend, and support for engineering materials such as nylon and fiber-reinforced nylon.
2. Laser engraver/cutter
The regular Artisan has a 10W laser, while the Artisan Premium uses a 40W laser with Air Assist, providing substantially stronger cutting capability.
3. CNC router
The included 200W CNC module is designed for carving/cutting materials such as hardwood, acrylic, PCB and other suitable materials.
